" standing your ground" article from  wall street journal , fox news columnist juan williams states that black america needs to get out of the rut of replacing racial injustices of the past. He went on to say where is the march against the drug dealers who prey on black young men ? Where is the march against  schools , with 50% drop out rate for black teenaged boys? Where are the marches against the cable  companies that shows constantly offering minstrel-shows images of black youth as rappers and comedians who don"t value education ,dismiss the importance of marriage , and celebrate killing people, drug money and jailhouse fashion. I could not believe he made those statements . You cannot compare what happen to trayvon martin, with some of those truths. I agree with the mesage but this is the wrong message at the wrong time. Racial profiling has and  always will be. It is WRONG. It does not matter whether you are oprah winfrey , trying to enter a boutique in england and obviously wanting to spend big big bucks  or tyler perry  being stopped by law enforcement for no reasonable reason, but when they discovered who he was, they let him go. We have no right to assume that because i'm black that i am up to no good.

  1. Great article choice. You said it, "Valid message but at the wrong time." Hopefully justice will prevail in the end.
